About the collection
A Paris cafe on your terrace
Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi first worked with Dedon on AIIR, a light, see-through chair and Dedon's first injection-molded seating. It was also the duo's first outdoor project, a new take on the classic shell chair. Eight years later they came back knowing Dedon's fiber and craft well, and used that knowledge to test new solutions.
The starting point was the cafes of Paris, where small tables and mixed seating let people talk in a group or sit alone for a while. Mymi carries that idea outside. The armchair and bistro table start at cafe scale, and Dedon designed them to move from casual corners to more formal dining.
The designers also wanted a chair that crosses the window line, so Mymi works indoors as well as on the terrace. Dedon offers four colorways: myroca, mymara, mytessa and myemba. For a seat cushion you can pick from fabric families such as Natura, Caleo, Tucson, Gaia, Muse, Nube and Borneo.
