Dedon Tibbo is the teak line of Dedon garden furniture, drawn by London designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. It covers a full outdoor dining set, benches, sofas and beach chairs, all built from solid teak with woven fiber and cushions.

About the collection
Dedon's first collection in teak
Barber and Osgerby designed Tibbo for homes where the living room and the terrace run into each other. They noticed how soft teak feels to the touch and built the collection to bring that out. The frames follow strict, architectural proportions, and the warm wood, the cushions and a woven fiber that Dedon developed for Tibbo take the edge off that rigor.
Look at the back of a Tibbo chair and you see a formed seat back with a three-dimensional curve, shaped like a sail. It gives Tibbo seating its outline. Dedon weaves the fiber in Vulcano matte, a shade that works with the golden tone of new teak and with the silver-gray it turns later.
For dining you can choose a table with a parasol hole or one of three rectangular tables, 199x103, 278x103 and 338x103. Seat the long sides with armchairs or pull up the Bench and Bench L. For lounging there are a lounge chair and a Lounge chair XL, a footstool, a 2-seater and a 3-seater, and coffee tables in S, M and L. The beach chair also comes on wheels.
Dedon sources its teak from sustainable plantations. The wood is rich in natural tannins and handles rain, strong sun, frost and swings in temperature. Left outside, it weathers from golden to silver-gray, unevenly at first. To keep the golden color, clean it once or twice a year with Dedon care products and apply Dedon Teak Color Protector at least twice a year.

Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby run a London studio whose work spans furniture, industrial design, lighting and public commissions such as the London 2012 Olympic Torch. Tibbo is their first project with Dedon.
