About the collection
Shade that stays in the background
Dedon Design Studio kept Reav plain on purpose. The lines are minimal and the look is light, so the shade does its job without pulling attention from the chairs and tables under it. Dedon developed Reav in its own R&D labs and presents it as a match for every one of its collections.
Reav comes in two builds. The parasol version stands over a dining table or a pair of loungers. The cantilever version holds the canopy from the side, which keeps the area underneath open for seating. Across both builds Dedon offers five canopy shapes and sizes, including a hexagon and a square.
Dedon lists the Hexagon S parasol at 79 kg and the Square M cantilever at 262 kg. The frame comes in anthracite or white. Reav has no woven parts, so it sits as easily next to fiber pieces as next to teak or aluminum. Tell us the size of your deck and the furniture under it, and we suggest a canopy.
